Story
House built according to the plans of parish priest François Cherrier. The Cherrier family is related to Louis-Joseph Papineau, on his mother’s side. "In Saint-Denis, a stronghold of the Patriotes’ cult, the Maison Cherrier acquires symbolic value; along with the church and the Maison des Patriotes, it is a silent witness to the rebellion of 1837."
House built between 1808 and 1811 and recognized as a historic monument in 1980.
