Story
Painting depicting rue Sainte-Anne in Vieux Québec, evoking the memory of Anne of Austria, who died in Paris on January 20, 1666, of breast cancer. Queen of France and Navarre from 1615 to 1643 as the wife of Louis XIII, mother of Louis XIV, the Sun King, who reigned from 1643 to 1715, that is, for 72 years; the head of state who governed France the longest and the monarch who reigned the longest in Europe... intent on constantly fulfilling his "role as King"... he became the archetype of the absolute monarch.
